Applicant Information - RLG Class of 2024
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attendance at the Opening Weekend session is required for participation in the RLG Program. The Opening Weekend for the 2024 Class will be September 8-10, 2023, at Little Ocmulgee State Park & Lodge in McRae/Helena, Georgia, so if you are submitting an Application, please reserve those dates on your calendar.

WARNING: A partially completed Application Form CANNOT BE SAVED for completion at a later date. A link to the Application Form and a copy of the Form in PDF format are available to the left. It is strongly recommended that you print a copy of the Application Form and assemble all the information for completion of the form before you begin entering it in the Application Form. The responses to the essay questions can be cut and pasted into the form.

A complete Application consists of the following items: (1) online Application form; (2) a head shot photograph of the applicant in electronic form; and (3) a Community, a Political and a Professional letter of recommendation.

The deadline for submission of all items is Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

A color photograph head shot of the applicant in business attire in either .jpeg or .tif format must be emailed to Info@RepublicanLeadershipforGeorgia.com. Passport photos are a good option. A photograph of each applicant accepted into the Program is included with a biographical sketch in the Class Yearbook.

Each applicant must submit letters of recommendation – one each from a Republican colleague, from an officer of a civic organization in which the applicant is active, and from the applicant’s employer or a professional colleague. The links in the sidebar to the left will direct persons writing letters of recommendation to the appropriate online form. You may cut and paste the appropriate link in your email to each person you have requested to write a recommendation. They are the preferred method for the submission of recommendation letters; however, the person submitting the recommendation may, alternatively, submit a letter of recommendation by fax to: (404) 577-2256, by e-mail to: Info@RepublicanLeadershipforGeorgia.com, or by regular mail to: P.O.
